Senior thinking, no junior handoffs
Every engagement is led by the same person who scoped it. No account manager in the middle, no briefing a team who has never spoken to you. The person who diagnosed the problem is the person solving it.
BlazeKraft brings senior marketing thinking to small and medium businesses that have outgrown DIY but aren't ready for an agency retainer or a full-time hire. Strategy first. Execution that follows it. The same person at every stage.
Most SMEs don't have a marketing problem. They have a clarity problem. Once the positioning is right and the strategy is honest, the execution follows.
The belief BlazeKraft is built onThe name says it. Blaze is the fire — marketing with real energy behind it. Kraft is the craft and power underneath — the discipline of setting a company's marketing engine and keeping it burning. Controlled fire. Strategy with intensity.
Every engagement is led by the same person who scoped it. No account manager in the middle, no briefing a team who has never spoken to you. The person who diagnosed the problem is the person solving it.
A four-stage framework built around how growth actually happens, not how agencies bill for it. It starts with understanding your business deeply before touching a single channel.
Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini are active parts of our research, ideation, and refinement process. We use AI to think faster, not to think less. The strategic judgement stays human. The busywork doesn't.
Built on work across 100+ brands in New Zealand and Canada: fitness, retail, trades, industrial equipment, lifestyle. Most consultants know one market. We know what transfers and what doesn't.
Execution without strategy is expensive noise. Every BlazeKraft engagement moves through the same four stages, because that is how growth actually happens.
Deep discovery: your business, your customers, your competitive position, and the real marketing problem, which is often different from the stated one. We never recommend a channel, tool, or tactic before understanding the business.
Positioning, messaging hierarchy, channel priorities, and the 90-day plan. Every recommendation comes with the reasoning behind it. No execution begins before this is agreed, in writing.
Campaigns, content, launches, channel build-out. The strategy gets put to work across the channels that matter for your business — email, social, paid, content, or the mix the strategy calls for.
Reviewing what's working, cutting what isn't, doubling down on what's driving results. Reporting covers outcomes, not activity — and if something isn't working, you'll hear it from us first.
Controlled fire. Strategy with intensity.
Every service is a package with defined deliverables and a fixed price. You always know what you're getting, what it costs, and why. The answer to "can you do it cheaper?" is no — but there's usually a smaller scope that fits.
A focused three-week engagement to diagnose where your marketing is broken and build a 90-day action plan.
A complete marketing foundation for a business that's grown without one. Common trigger: you're about to hire, launch, or relaunch.
A single campaign, fully built and ready to launch: product launches, seasonal pushes, lead generation with a clear deadline.
Three-month minimum. Every tier includes strategy, a named senior lead, and reporting against agreed outcomes — never activity metrics.
Strategy plus one channel executed (email or social), with monthly outcome reporting.
Strategy plus two channels, campaign planning, monthly reporting, bi-weekly check-ins.
Full-stack: strategy and execution across three to four channels, campaign builds, weekly calls.

Also available: the AI Marketing Workshop ($1,800–$2,500 CAD), a half-day hands-on session teaching SME owners and their teams how to build AI into their marketing workflow properly — which tools matter, what each does best, and what AI can't replace.
New Zealand clients: all services delivered remotely, quoted in NZD at current rates.
"Marketing isn't working and I don't know why."Ignition Sprint. Diagnosis first — it's the point of it.
"We've grown fast and we sound different everywhere."Brand & Positioning Build. Foundation before volume.
"I have a launch or deadline coming."Campaign Build. Scoped to the date, strategy included.
"I want marketing handled properly, ongoing."Catalyst Retainer — most clients start with a Sprint first, so the retainer is built on evidence, not assumptions.
"My team should be using AI better."AI Marketing Workshop. Practical, hands-on, no hype.
"We just want someone to post for us cheaply."Honestly? Not us. Execution without strategy is the one thing we don't sell.
BlazeKraft is a young consultancy built on a long track record. These numbers come from the founder's decade leading marketing across multi-brand portfolios in Canada and New Zealand.
Full marketing ownership at Road & Sport Harley-Davidson helped the dealership win Dealership of the Year out of 52 locations, with social and influencer engagement up sharply.
Nine brands, five divisions, four markets. Sustained 3.5x return on Google Ads spend across a multi-market heavy equipment group by matching channel strategy to how buyers actually purchase.
At Active Safety, lifted customer retention 20% and online visits 45% across fourteen industrial safety and workwear brands, spanning stores, e-commerce, and a B2B rep network.
Grew organic website traffic 60% and brand engagement 40% across three construction-equipment companies through content strategy, on-page, and technical SEO.
These results come from the founder's in-house marketing leadership roles. More case studies: marketing a law firm, lifecycle email for three D2C brands, a CASE excavator campaign build.
Names you'll recognise. These are brands the founder has marketed over a decade in dealership, distribution, retail, and multi-brand portfolio roles across New Zealand and Canada — the experience BlazeKraft is built on.

42 of a 109-brand track record across fitness, e-mobility, gifting, safety, legal, and heavy equipment
Based in Calgary, Alberta, working with SMEs across Canada. Calgary and Alberta clients get in-person workshops and key sessions; everyone gets the same process, the same standard, and the same senior lead.
Delivered remotely, drawing on an established network built across multiple NZ industry sectors over years of in-market work. The timezone works in your favour: your strategy moves forward while you sleep.
The same senior marketer scopes, strategises, and delivers your engagement. You will never be handed to someone you haven't met.
Every strategic recommendation, scope change, and key decision is documented and confirmed. Verbal agreements drift; written ones don't.
Reporting covers what changed for your business — revenue, pipeline, conversion — not how many assets got produced.
Scheduled check-ins matched to your tier, not ad hoc chaos. Prepared for, on time, with decisions to make.
If a strategy isn't working, you'll hear it from us first, with a plan to fix it. No vanity metrics, no burying bad news.
Web development, video production, PR — if you need something outside our genuine competence, we'll point you to someone who does it well.
BlazeKraft was founded by Taj Walia, a senior marketer with over a decade of experience across more than 100 brands in Canada and New Zealand — spanning fitness equipment, D2C retail, industrial machinery, trades and safety, gifting, and an official Harley-Davidson franchise.
That breadth is the point. Taj has run marketing for multi-brand portfolios where strategy, budget, and execution all sat with him — which is exactly the situation most SME owners are in. He has led lean marketing teams and stayed hands-on in the work, so nothing at BlazeKraft is theoretical.
He holds a Master of Applied Management and built BlazeKraft on one conviction: SME owners deserve the same quality of marketing thinking that large companies pay directors for, delivered without the agency overhead.
The name is the philosophy. Blaze — the fire marketing should have when it works. Kraft — strength and craft: the discipline of building and powering a company's marketing engine. BlazeKraft exists to do both.
Everything is packaged with a fixed price — no open-ended hourly billing, ever. The Ignition Sprint is $3,500 CAD. Retainers run $3,000–$8,500/month with a three-month minimum. Projects are quoted within published ranges once scope is clear. If the budget doesn't stretch, we'd rather offer a smaller scope than a discount.
Because hours measure effort, not value. Hourly billing rewards slow work and punishes efficiency. Packaged pricing means you know exactly what you're paying and exactly what you're getting — and it keeps us focused on the outcome, not the clock.
You get a 90-day action plan you fully own. Some clients execute it themselves. Some hand it to their team. Many continue with a Catalyst Retainer, where the plan becomes the working roadmap — the retainer starts on evidence rather than assumptions. There is no obligation either way, and we'll tell you honestly which route fits.
We use Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini for research, ideation, pressure-testing ideas, and refining content. Every strategic recommendation reflects genuine analysis and professional judgement — AI accelerates the process, it doesn't substitute for it. We use AI to think faster, not to think less. Nothing goes to you that hasn't passed a senior marketer's standard.
Deliberately few. The model is built on a small number of clients served at a high level — when we're at capacity, we say so and offer a start date rather than stretching. It's the reason the work stays good.
No — and it's the most important no we say. Execution without strategy is expensive noise. If you already have a genuine strategy in place, the Striking Spark stage moves quickly and we get to work. But we won't skip it.
Fully remote, quoted in NZD, built on an established network from years of in-market work across NZ industry sectors. The timezone gap is an advantage: Calgary's afternoon is your tomorrow morning, so work moves forward while you sleep and lands in your inbox at the start of your day.
Fitness and wellness, trades and construction, industrial and B2B equipment, D2C retail and e-commerce, and B2B services. That's where the 100+ brands of experience are concentrated and where we're genuinely competitive. If your industry is outside that list, we'll tell you whether the experience transfers — honestly.
We direct and strategise; heavy production is sourced through trusted partners where needed, and we're upfront about it. You get one accountable lead and specialists where specialists belong — never a referral fee behind a recommendation.
An Ignition Sprint typically starts within one to two weeks of agreement, depending on current capacity. The first conversation costs nothing and we'll tell you in that call whether we're the right fit — including if we're not.
It starts with a conversation, not a pitch. Tell us about your business and what's not working, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
